Communications Manager, Newton Aycliffe -

Are you a marketing communications professional looking for a new challenge? Do you want a varied role with a global manufacturer? Do you contribute to plans as well as be involved in the execution, with a hands-on role in a small, dedicated team? If so, then read on, as we have an exciting new role to suggest!

To make this role a success, you will be commercially-driven - having experience in a B2C or B2B role that ideally sells a tangible product - and be digitally-minded, comfortable with both a strategic and involved position, as you will be taking on a number of aspects, and you will never be bored! You'll have experience in creating a strategy for internal and external communications, have a good understanding of the marketing and communications landscape, and have previously had some exposure to marketing automation systems such as Hubspot, meaning that there is a keen commercial drive to this position, making the most of every possible campaign.

To bolster your communications internally and externally, you'll have also worked with social media and web platforms, planning posts and knowing how to attract as many new customers as possible for this global manufacturer. You'll be an expert at engaging customers, and will be comfortable with competitor analysis, to make sure that you're constantly ahead of the game. You'll manage the annual communications budget - experience here is essential - and be an expert at truly understanding your target - and existing - customer base.

You'll have a strong digital acumen, getting stuck in with various web platforms, analysing and reporting on digital activity and aligning it with the correct tone of voice, being a digital ambassador for this brand. You'll not only manage budgets but will report on the financial performance of your activity, keeping a close watch on ROI; analysing, evaluating and acting on areas of potential improvement.

It's an incredible role that is looking for someone happy to juggle the digital communications plates, but a very rewarding one, with a culture that is second to none and with a company that has an outstanding name in the manufacturing and distribution arenas. So, if this sounds like your next career move, we would love to hear from you!

It could easily be commutable from Darlington, Middlesbrough, Hartlepool, Durham, Sunderland or even Newcastle.
