Children eligible for free school meals are less likely to get good GCSEs and go on to higher education. This makes it more likely they will struggle throughout their lives, widening social inequality. It’s a cycle that we’re determined to break.
We’re seeking a talented and driven digital communications professional to join us as our Email Marketer. This person will be the lead for our email marketing content and strategy.
The right person will be a skilled copywriter and proofreader with strong experience of and expertise in email marketing. They will develop our e-communications platforms, ensuring the most effective use of content, analytics and platform functionality. They will identify opportunities for improvement for across all our email audiences and lead on implementation. They will also set, monitor and respond to engagement metrics.
As the editor of our emails, they won’t produce all the content required, but they’ll be responsible for its quality and effectiveness. Through a combination of platform setup and editorial workflows, they’ll facilitate colleagues to produce high-quality content and institute checks to gauge this. They will be the guardian of our brand across all our email marketing.
Lastly, they’ll be a team player who works closely with other colleagues in the Communications department to develop high-quality and effective email content and journeys. They will also consult with our Technology department and external tech support to ensure our email marketing platform (we use Salesforce Marketing Cloud) is iteratively improved and always functional.
