Senior Customer Optimisation and Trading Manager
Bravissimo is a dynamic, entrepreneurial company which, since its launch in 1995, has grown to a 50m turnover business, with 29 stores and a well-established e-commerce operation. We offer a range of lingerie, clothing and swimwear to fit and flatter women who wear a D-L cup.

Our digital presence plays a huge part in how we communicate and connect with our customers. Our ecommerce operation also accounts for around 40% of the business, so our website must deliver an experience tailored to our purpose. With this focus in mind, we are looking for a Senior Customer Optimisation and Trading Manager to join our Marketing and Ecommerce team based in Leamington Spa.
About the job
Reporting to the Marketing & Ecommerce Director, this role will have full accountability for the performance of our website and digital presence. Managing a team of 3, you will work broadly alongside the Senior Customer Engagement Manager to drive ecommerce performance and build customer loyalty across all digital channels. You will manage the transaction pages to maximum conversion, and develop and maintain online content to create an outstanding customer experience that reflects our purpose. Working with our IT team and wider marketing and creative teams, you will optimise the site for search, both technically and through rich content that inspires our customers.
We launched a new website last year which provides a unique online experience. Our aim with the website is to allow customers to feel like part of the Bravissimo community and offer a window into our in-store experience. You will manage the development and monitor the effectiveness of the site as well as using data and customer feedback to plan and implement further improvements. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the online experience is inspiring not transactional, whilst still supporting our commercial strategy.
Success will be measured by online conversion, by subsequent retail and telephone engagement and by the feedback our customers give us about the experience they have had. We want our website to inspire our customers so they shop, smile and leave feeling amazing.
You will be pivotal in supporting the business growth. You will be a confident trader, ensuring we meet our financial plans by setting traffic targets and conversion targets. You will work with supply teams on stock and trading our business with the right promotions at the right time, in a Bravissimo way.
We are looking for an exceptional person who can combine experience of online trading management in a multi-channel retail environment with a passion for creating a unique online experience for our customers.
Experience in development of website content, design and functionality is essential, as is knowledge of Google Analytics and A/B testing to develop and maximise conversation and customer experience. However, it is not necessarily important what companies you have worked for previously, or if their products are similar to what Bravissimo offer.
A strong understanding of our purpose is essential and you will need to really build your understanding of what makes our customers tick. You will also have a strong ability to clearly and imaginatively communicate a message to different audiences. Analytical skills are also essential to really create a clear current picture and develop a future strategy from the data that sits behind the website.
Previous experience of managing a team would be great, but it isn’t essential. However, you will need to be a confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels. Your previous experience in terms of the companies you have worked with is not important. We are much more interested in your experience of working broadly and picking up new information quickly. Your learning agility and understanding of our purpose is really important for this role.
