My client, a large consumer brand based in Manchester is recruiting a Multimedia Designer to join their dynamic, friendly marketing team. This role is 50/50 print packaging and some digital (social media, video editing), it's an exciting opportunity to work in a varied role!

Design Responsibilities:
Assist Design Manager and Brand team in meeting company's needs for a wide range of brand consistent communication materials when required
Support wider marketing team to bring to campaigns across site, marketing activation, in store and print while maintaining branding consistency at all times
Be comfortable working with both print and digital media
The type of print materials you can expect to work on will vary from catalogues and flyers through to product imagery and POS
Manage updates and new requests across the business briefed by brand team
Create and maintain artwork & packaging library
Design and execute monthly mailers and press releases for UK, Irish and French teams. Brand team to brief
As a creative and proactive member of the team you will have the opportunity to share ideas and develop your own initiatives where appropriate
Digital Content Responsibilities:
Support Digital Manager by understanding brand values, brand strategy, tone of voice across the brands, and translate this into design
Be socially savvy and manage day to day social media activity following the Content Strategy set by the Digital Manager. This will include:
Crafting compelling posts across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
Understanding what works on the different channels and adapting content accordingly to specific audiences
Support specific brand campaigns/events following a brief, including: Video editing, Social media posts, Content creation eg, photography
Work alongside brand teams to create engaging and relevant cross-platform content (video, web banners, photos etc) for social/web, making recommendations where appropriate. We need to you to be creative and visual!
Be able to write to a good standard and have an understanding of writing for online channels
Creation of email mailers in Mailchimp - build and design according to a brief
Analysing and reporting on open rates, response rates, to make recommendations and improvements

Skills Required:
Educated to A'Level/Degree
Experience of working in a fast paced environment working across multiple brands
Must have design experience working in print packaging, using litho and flexo - desirable
Experience of compiling brochures, flyers, product imagery and POS
Experience of flexographic printing - essential
Understands digital marketing and has had some exposure
Understanding of digital/online technology and its application across multi-channel content publishing, social media and video. Video editing skills required
Passion or experience in Photography - desirable
Experience of using Mailchimp or similar platforms for email campaigns
Understand and experienced in using - Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign) and Microsoft 365
Knowledge and experience of setting print artwork for different print processes
Company Benefits:
Salary £25k (Negotiable, depending on experience)
24 days + bank holidays
Flexible working hours (7.30am-3.30pm, 8pm-4pm)
Friday finish at 1.30pm
