The Account Director will be responsible for leading a team and managing both existing accounts and new business activities. This role is varied but also offers fantastic flexibility, the successful candidate will have the option of working from home 3 days per week.

My client is a world class, sector leading B2B marketing & communications agency based in Bedfordshire. With 8 offices globally and the business growing rapidly, this is an exciting time to be joining the team.


The key responsibilities of the Account Director include:

* Support major accounts with integrated marketing activity

Communicate with client contacts on a daily basis and establish successful working relationship.

Project management from strategic thinking, production of creative briefs and over-see project through to delivery and results

Briefing creative team and ensure output meets client's brief and objectives

Creative appreciation and judgement against client brief

High quality output via proof reading editing and production values

Effective managing and understanding of the production process for both online, media, PR & print.

Media planning & buying - covering digital, social and print

Training/management of team members

Business/account development


The successful candidate will be joining a friendly team and reporting into the VP of Advertising, this will be a busy and varied role and ideal for someone looking for a challenge. The Account Director role requires an experienced account handler with at least 5 years account management or client side experience to work across multiple blue chip accounts within IT and industrial markets.

Job Offer

The Account Director role is paying up to £50,000 + other added benefits.
