Looking for an individual with a background in Product &/or Marketing with exposure to either Retail and/or Builder Merchants.

Client Details

Market leading manufacturing organisation looking to grow and develop into Europe and beyond. Providing niche products within bathrooms to consumers on both retail and healthcare side.


The Product Manager main responsibilities will be:

* To plan, implement and deliver to market new products on time and within cost controls

* Plan and develop new product launches including marketing specifications and internal departments product training requirements

* To use market research data to effectively establish product pricing plus continuous review of production and sales costs, forecasting and pricing of special and customised items.

* To identify the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing specification and requirements, appraising and adjusting as needed and preparing ROI analyses

* To establish time schedules with design, manufacturing and component partners

* To determine customer needs, product trends and product positioning via high quality research and analysis

* To work with Group Sales Director and Data Analyst to develop effective product sales strategies

* To work closely with Marketing; product marketing and brochure updates.

* To line manage two Product Assistants, allocating workloads and ensuring project timelines are met


The successful Product manager based out of Taunton will:

* Motivated self-starter capable of working within cross disciplinary teams

* Communication skills critical - proven capability in building strong professional relationships with colleagues and core partners

* Commercial intelligence - a clear understanding of the role of product in delivering profit/strategic impact.

* Exceptional organisation and communication skills

* Ability to present information in a concise manner to reach quick consensus

* A preparedness to travel when needed - European-wide on occasion.

Critical to the role will be the ability to establish effective cohesion with internal functional teams, European-wide Group functional teams (including a willingness to travel when needed) and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time, utilising quality market research and customer need/competitor analysis data to secure our continued competitive advantage.

Job Offer

The successful Product Manager will receive:

£30,000 - £50,000
