A leading financial services organisation based in Leeds

Due to an increase in activity, my client is looking for an engaging Communications Executive to join their team. Through developing engaging campaigns for all internal audiences, using a variety of channels, this role will connect employees with the business purpose, business strategy, values and also to each other.

Responsibilities

* Assist in delivering the key employee communication campaigns themes
* Creating and sharing great content to engage employees, and connect them to the business purpose, progress and priorities and to each other, using a range of media and story-telling.
* Bringing fresh thinking, creativity into the communications; developing and maintaining core communications channels.
* Enhance the usage of social media as part of the employee communication message delivery
* Work with internal and external stakeholders to co-ordinate message delivery across the Group
* Support the creation of our business tone of voice - creating, communicating and championing brand guidelines to drive consistency.
* Assist with planning, designing and creating communications across the intranet, video, written updates, and other events.
* Develop the creative content for employee communication
* Tracking and measuring effectiveness and impact of communications programmes, projects and campaigns.
* Co-ordinating internal employee events - including arranging venues, equipment etc for complex events involving multiple participants arriving from various locations.

Personal Profile

* Experience building and managing online communities and user generated content, video production and editing
* Experience of developing, implementing and improving communications channels - particularly digital ones
* An understanding of the distinctions and benefits of different communications channels
* An excellent understanding of social media and how it integrates with other digital communications
* Knowledge of communications trends and best practice
* Exceptional verbal and written communications and planning skills
* Excellent editing and proof reading skills
* Strong partnership experience, working with key stakeholders
