Communications Campaigns Officer job in Manchester |12+ month contract | £23,999 to £27,000.

Your new company
Your new company are a highly respected public sector organisation who are currently seeking an experienced Communications and Campaigns Officer to join their well-established Campaigns team based in Manchester on a contract lasting up until April 2020.

Your new role
In your new position, you will support the planning and management of communications and engagement activity to support projects, campaigns and events for client directorates across the organisation. You will work in conjunction with the Campaigns Manager in providing advice to communication, policy and operational teams. You must also be proactive in ensuring communication projects and campaigns are evaluated after delivery, and any lessons learnt are applied to the planning and delivery of future projects. As additional aspects to this role, you must be able to manage any other reasonable duties that may be assigned from time to time, as well as being open to some travel across the UK occasionally involving some overnight stays.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will have prior proven experience in a communications role and in stakeholder engagement. You must be able to manage stakeholder expectations, internal and external, surrounding all aspects of the campaigns. It is vital that you have strong IT skills with the ability to use Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint, in order to be most successful in this position.
