A not for profit organisation who play a key role in managing a national event


Description

As a Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for marketing, communications & events

* Involved in the full marketing mix including print, digital and advertising;
* Responsible for the detailed planning and execution of the event calender
* Management of all social media platforms including Facebook/ Twitter and Instagram;
* Create and manage communications, using Mailchimp, Survey Monkey and Google Docs;
* Maintain the website (Wordpress) and liaise with web developers to implement larger website changes;
* Produce marketing materials, e.g. festival brochure, posters, advertising, website, social media including liaison with external suppliers;
* Produce high-quality written content for all marketing activity and marketing materials;
* Responsible for the CRM database and play an active role as a key member of the team, working together flexibly to meet deadlines.


Profile

* Minimum 2 years' experience of within marketing & events
* Ideally a degree in marketing, PR or similar
* Knowledge of Mailchimp, Google Docs and Wordpress
* Good understanding of social media marketing tools (e.g. facebook, twitter e.t.c)
* Strong copywriting skills: confident in ability to write for a wide range of materials (proposals, press releases, sponsorship packs, brochures, flyers, etc.);
* Able to work flexibly and you must have a full driving license with access to a car
