A world renown NHS Trust are looking for a new Marketing and Communications Director to join for a 1 year contract.

Description

-Lead and be responsible for a wide range of external and internal marketing and communications programmes and policy developments.

-It is a senior level strategic and operational senior role requiring the development and successful delivery of long term, measurable, strategic plans, on time and in budget

-Responsible for leading, developing and managing the marketing function and staff.

-Lead the design and delivery of the annual member conference and other high profile events, seminars and member-related activities.

-A knowledge of professional website design and the production of appropriate layouts and content

-Lead the work and development of Communications, Marketing, Media and Public Relations.

-Lead on developing and implementing an organisational Communications Strategy, managing communications with key stakeholders including: staff, media, suppliers and would-be suppliers to the NHS.

-Responsible for the Corporate Affairs function within the organisation. This includes the production of a wide range of organisational weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports on performance.

-Meets tight deadlines in a fast paced dynamic environment with consistently high levels of performance.


Profile

Significant experience of the development and implementation of media and digital policies, and of managing and implementing crisis communications





Educated to Masters level and above or equivalent in-depth experience (Governance, HR, communications, administration, public relations or marketing)





Significant experience of the development and implementation of media and digital policies, and of managing and implementing crisis communications







Demonstrable ability to build communities online using social media, blogs, forums







Proven track record of management of change at senior level







Experience of developing, managing and successfully delivering multiple marketing and communications projects at any one time







Extensive and highly significant strategic and operational senior level management in a business service function at a senior level in a complex organisation









Chartered Institute of Marketing/CAM Foundation or equivalent







Recognised continuing professional development at advanced and very senior manager level
