Unique Head of Marketing opportunity based in central London.

Global & leading online Private Education provider based in the city of London.


As the Head of Marketing your responsibilities will be:

* To develop marketing plans to support delivery of the annual sales targets through effective lead generation strategies and revenue generating strategies.
* To manage a consistent process to monitor and review marketing activity and output
* To own customer insight, brand strategy and campaign design on and off line
* Effectively manage the marketing budget to deliver the marketing KPI's
* Effectively manage the marketing mix to ensure we are consistently delivering on marketing KPI's through various marketing and sales channels.
* To be an expert on the consumer - understand the different customer segments and ensure our communication messages are targeted correctly. Execute online and offline marketing campaigns that are effective in driving customer preference and engagement with the brand.
* Ensure we clearly understand our key competitors and the USPs and to develop strategies to achieve a % price premium through skilfully selling the product and service features and benefits.
* Develop a consistent framework to monitor and review competitive market positioning
* Work with the business development and sales teams in both companies to ensure collaborative and effective working relationships and that good communication tools are in place
* To work with the Managing Director to identify avenues for growth including product extension, new market entry & new geographic markets
* To ensure the business development and sales teams have the appropriate tools to sell a differentiated proposition to both B2B and B2C markets.
* To develop and implement the digital strategy to drive relevant traffic to our digital properties via a range of marketing initiatives including paid and organic search programmes, social media campaigns, display advertising and support for directory listings
* To monitor and analyse performance & recommend changes to improve future potential and reporting regularly on ROI vs target
* Manage all external agencies to agreed SLAs and budgets ensuring their value add is demonstrable


The successful Head of Marketing will have:

* A proven track record in delivering marketing solutions to enhance the customer experience and deliver commercial benefit in large multi-site organisations
* Excellent digital skills with experience in developing and implementing lead generation strategies
* Experience in both B2B and B2C business environments ideal but B2C is essential.
* Demonstrable success in managing all elements of the marketing mix
* A good understanding of the fitness sector advantageous.
* Excellent sense of initiative and problem solving
* Strong written and verbal communications skills with proven experience in operating successfully in matrix environments with complex stakeholder relationships
* Excellent numerical reasoning skills
* Ability to work autonomously
