The primary objective of the Kennel Club is to improve in every way the welfare, health and general wellbeing of all dogs throughout their lives, by means of various research and educational programmes, and our Charitable Trust. The Kennel Club is an organisation committed to promoting and protecting dogs’ varied roles in society and defending the interests of all dog owners.
A new role of Marketing Officer is now available within the Marketing Communications department. This department is responsible for all aspects of online and offline marketing, advertising and brand management.
We are looking for someone who has proven experience of co-ordinating marketing activity covering email, social media, direct mail and managing plans. Experience of proofreading and writing copy is essential. This role would also suit someone that has a good understanding of the canine world. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills to be able to present goals and measures for activity.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and written communications skills with a marketing degree/CIM as the ability to multi task and prioritise own workloads is essential. They will also have knowledge of email marketing platforms such as Dotmailer or similar and social media campaigns. Previous experience using a CRM system is required, Microsoft Dynamics is desirable.
