About the role:

Product marketing acts as story tellers for the business, responsible for value proposition development, marketing content creation, messaging, and inbound/outbound marketing for all Preqin offerings across regions and client segments. The role works cross-functionally and predominantly with Product Development, Sales Enablement, Marketing Services, and Sales (among others). This role reports to the VP, Head of Product Marketing.

About you:

You are analytical, creative, and an experienced marketing executive/associate. You’re passionate about telling stories about products and looking for a new challenge in an established financial information provider.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support VP, Product Marketing and Senior Product Marketing Manager in execution of go-to-market, route to market and competitive plans
  • Work with Product Marketing group to develop messaging for Preqin’s offerings, including defining customer challenges, resulting customer benefits and product value proposition
  • Collaborate with product management and marketing development group to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas
  • Email Marketing – execute campaign strategy from end to end. Partner with product management to form communications that support product launches and feature adoption
  • Develop robust lifecycle marketing strategies with the goal of increasing engagement
  • Create product content such as case studies, videos, website copy and blog posts
  • Market intelligence—learn about our customers, who are they, how they buy and their key buying criteria. Understand the competitive landscape and their positioning
  • Campaign Management - design regular communications for clients, product collateral and suggest promotional activities. Create assets that can be used to drive demand and lead generation through all marketing channels
  • Analytics and reporting – managing, measuring, tracking, and reporting on metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and ROI. Ensure regular reports are prepared in timely manner.
  • Contribute to the daily execution of managing product/domain strategy, including communication, knowledge sharing, reporting, managing expectations

Professional Experience/Qualification:

  • 2-4 years in a B2B marketing, product management or customer facing commercial role, preferably in financial services or Fintech
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Critical thinker with outstanding written, data analysis, communication, presentation and delivery skills
  • A self-starter who truly enjoys learning from customers and colleagues about how Preqin products are being used and how they can be improved
  • Creative, but also process-driven relying on data to make decisions
  • Good knowledge of marketing techniques (inbound, outbound, direct) and their application
  • Previous experience working with or using HubSpot or other marketing automation software to create and manage campaigns, workflows, blogs and landing pages
  • Execution-focused with an attention to detail. Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
