My client is an award winning Travel Company and leading provider of luxury trips. With an excellent relationship both with their customers and employees and a real focus on marketing, my client are the envy of their competitors.

Due to their continuous growth they are expanding their marketing team and are looking for an experienced Digital Content Manager.

This is a brand new position within the business and will report directly to the Head of Digital whilst working closely with the Digital Acquisition and Marketing team

As an integral member of the marketing team, the key remit of this role is to drive both engagement and conversion through standout content. You will lead a team of Digital Content Executives and manage content across all platforms (website, mobile and apps).

Main Responsibilities

* Develop and implement a strategy to drive forward improved content on all websites, blogs and social platforms
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop the content strategy in support of brand ideas and campaigns Work with external agencies to develop and enhance website content to support SEO, PPC, eCRM and other digital marketing activities
* Work with the Web Analytics team to understand content performance, identify priority areas to optimise and test
* Manage scheduling, delivery and maintenance of all content online including brand, product, campaign and rich media (e.g. videos), ensuring quality and timely upload

* Identify and develop opportunities to improve style and layout

Competencies Required

You will need to show:

* Proven experience working in a content management role
* Experience using CMS

* Thorough understanding of SEO, and experience of using SEO techniques and tools to optimise content for search
* Excellent grammar, copywriting experience and meticulous attention to detail
* Good organisational and time-management skills
* Ability to perform well and accurately under deadlines, and be detail-oriented
* Experience of using analytics to measure and improve performance

You will ideally show:

* Basic technical knowledge of HTML
* Experience in the travel industry
* People management experience
