A new job opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Officer to work in Student Recruitment for a leading University in London. You will coordinate the planning, implementation, and evaluation of postgraduate student recruitment activities in liaison with administrative and academic colleagues. This job is offered as a 2 year fixed term contract.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Creating promotional plans for each of the School's programmes
* Developing innovative ways of publicising the School's outstanding postgraduate teaching and research provision
* Creating an excellent journey for prospective students from first contact to enrolment
* Working closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications to develop targeted marketing campaigns that meet the School's objectives
* Organising recruitment events and using the University's CRM system to create and manage communications with prospective students


You will be a Marketing Officer with significant experience in student recruitment, ideally within higher education - specifically postgraduate student recruitment. You will demonstrate:

* Experience of generating high-quality marketing copy quickly
* Strong communication skills to effectively with a wide range of audiences
* Knowledge of all aspects of the marketing mix
* Knowledge of the student recruitment cycle and external factors that affect postgraduate student recruiting
* Experience in coordinating and managing events
* Experience with email marketing platforms (for example, MailChimp)
* Experience with student records management systems (for example, SITS)
* Experience with supplying content for websites and social media platforms (for example, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, iVent) Excellent IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and Access
