The Product Manager will be responsible for managing EMEA NPD process bringing products to market and implementing product category and brand marketing strategies for the portfolio of personal care brands.

The Product Manager will be responsible for but not limited to:

* Develop product category strategies for the next two/three years on a rolling basis in conjunction with Marketing Director
* Project manage delivery of the NPD roadmap, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders ensuring timely launch of new products
* Feedback EMEA requirements to US and China offices to ensure EMEA market needs are met
* Propose, set (in conjunction with sales director) and review product pricing to agreed margin requirements
* Implement the marketing strategic plans in conjunction with local country marketing teams and ROW distributors, providing support and tactical direction with accountability for: NPD, Promotional activity, MARCOMS, PR, POS, Advertising, Social Media and Packaging Design
* Monitor market movements/trends and maintain market intelligence reports, be the leading authority on changes within your category of responsibility
* Manage marketing spend in line with pre-agreed budget
* Produce required literature e.g. catalogues and sales sheets, data sheets and technical specifications
* Maintain category bibles Manage ad-hoc projects as required within the EMEA Marketing Department
* Ordering and distribution of product samples

Trade Marketing support for UK team:

* Support sales team with customer presentations and attend customer meetings as and when required
* Develop POS in partnership with the Trade Marketing Manager in line with activity and budget, liaising with third party suppliers as necessary to meet retailer requirements
* Manage white label product requirements/requests (including own brand/private label opportunities)
* Actively seek new opportunities from a product or communications perspective to grow the Personal Care categories


The successful candidate will demonstrate the below skills and attributes:

* Previous commercial experience working in an international marketing environment
* Proven track record of delivering NPD, working cross functionally ensuring timely and effective product launches
* Marketing / Business degree (or equivalent product marketing experience)
* Proven implementation of strategic brand/product business plans across UK and EU markets
* A confident communicator with proven presentation skills to internal and external stakeholders
* Organised with excellent time management skills
* Creative intellect and good analytical skills, including ROI
* Third party agency management experience
* Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging commercial environment
