As the Senior Pricing Insights Analyst, key responsibilities will encompass three main areas; competitor intelligence, management of the Global Competitor Intelligence Platform (COMP) and supporting the Pricing & Revenue Sustainability Centre of Excellence within SP&I.

Senior Pricing Insight Analyst

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

Competitor Intelligence

* Support the Competitor Intelligence & Pricing Insights Manager in producing regular Competitor insights to be presented at key Management Forums (Management Board & appropriate PLC Board meetings)
* Responsible for the modelling and analysis of Competitor's medium and long-term financial performance and forecasts, starting with volume & value dynamics in key markets and modelling this through the P&L.
* Analyse, interpret & disseminate Competitor's Financial results, Investor presentations/other announcements.
* Support agreed deep-dive analytic research projects.
* Provide required competitor inputs into QBRs and support SP&I on Ad-hoc projects / requests

Management of Global Competitor Platform (COMP)

* Responsible of managing and administrating the Global Competitor Intelligence Platform (COMP), maintaining its integrity, proposing and executing enhancements, contributing with relevant content, plus encouraging and assisting Region/end-market and central functional in their contributions to the COMP.

SP&I Pricing & Revenue Sustainability Centre of Excellence

* Support global dissemination, analysis and above market aggregation of pricing insights via the Integrated Revenue Sustainability Toolkit application, including elasticity analysis, pricing tipping point, impact of significant pricing events (i.e. excise shocks), Brand equity drivers of elasticity - input for MOR and Budget
* Share relevant pricing/elasticity analysis/insights/implications with the Regions and end-markets as appropriate for regional/local application.
* Bi-annual preparation of market pricing dashboards, understanding the evolution of the key metrics, linking them to end market/region/global business context and identifying risks or opportunities for the Group.


Senior Pricing Insight Analyst

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills.

* Analysis and understanding of marketing performance metrics - pricing, share, product mix
* Revenue analysis & revenue maximisation - understanding consumer pricing, affordability, elasticity's and the link to revenue generation
* Data analysis & visualisation - able to work with different data sources, analyse and derive insights, able to translate that into slides/presentation in order to tell the story
* Competitor bench marking - able to follow key competitors performance, and understand their strategic initiatives and how they have impacted their performance
* Strategic Planning - linking current performance plus assumptions/realities to performance trends to create forward looking views
* Presenting & Storytelling - able to translate insights/analysis into clear and structured presentation
* P&L understanding - a broad knowledge of how P&L works and key drivers (volume sales, Revenue, costs)
* Previously experience working in a large FMCG business or Commercial Finance role with exposure to consumer/marketing metrics
