As the Global Category Director for Marketing services, you will have full responsibility for people and business to develop and strengthening the sourcing and supplier management across Instore Communications, Commercial Print, Media, Martech and Content Development. By working with business partners and category managers, you will develop and implement the global category strategy fit for the future.

By actively engaging supplier selection and management, you will seek out innovation that will contribute to overall business performance on a global basis. You will be a critical business partner to key functions, such as marketing, and will contribute to their business plans and securing aligned objectives and priorities. You work will directly contribute to influencing operation and capital expenses of the group.

As a people leader, you will be responsible to build competence throughout the organisation on capabilities demanded by category based sourcing. You will be actively monitoring the external market, innovations and trends to find new business opportunities.

You will already be a senior leader with deep experience in marketing procurement in an international business. You will clearly understand how digitisation impacts the areas of marketing and how managing suppliers, seeking new innovations and trends will have a positive outcome for the business.

You will be a leader who acts from the front, and leads by example, with a holistic view of the business and marketing procurement but with the ability to zoom into the detail as needed. You will always be putting the customer, supplier and group in mind, and enjoy leading an organisation that is working with sourcing around the globe. You will have a proven track record in creating business value by developing strategies closely with your team and business partners.

The successful candidate will ideally be based in Denmark or Sweden
