An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Marketing Manager based in Surrey. This role is responsible for devising, leading and implementing the strategies for all customer marketing activation; and delivering against events, trade and POS standards too. Joining a warm and welcoming team in the FMCG and Consumer space - this is an excellent role providing a contract of 6 to 12 months which will move into a permanent position.

The department is very busy and this role will lead on Customer Marketing responsibilities; but you will be supported by an engaged atmosphere with a common goal and strong leadership. This role would certainly support someone who is looking for a friendly and comfortable atmosphere -with a passion for driving change in customer and trade activation.


The successful Customer Marketing Manager will be responsible for;

* Working with the Marketing, Sales and Shopper Leads to implement the strategy and brief for all customer activation across grocery, independent and bespoke channels
* Create and continually evolve the overall Customer Marketing Strategy to always maximise sales; ensuring the ability to track and evaluate spend efficiency.
* Ensuring all customer activation campaigns to have defined measurements to ensure maximum optimisation delivering agreedROI and contribution to sales growth.
* Create and implement a tailored customer marketing campaign calendar (i.e. print and digital) including catalogues, brochures, web content, videos etc.
* Identify, partner and manage 3rd party sales agencies.
* Partner with key agency suppliers to deliver agreed trade events.


The successful Customer Marketing Manager will should have the following abilities:

* A background inside theFMCG and Consumer sectors including working withDIY/Electronics stores alongside key grocery and independent channels.
* Demonstrable and proven marketing abilities in Customer/Shopper Marketing.
* A background within developing and implementing customer activation plans across multiple sales channels.

* A strong portfolio of trade marketing campaigns, and content creation including print and digital (e.g. catalogues, brochures, web content, future media channel, videos, customer testimonials etc.).
* In-store retail marketing programmes expertise / a knowledge of the term "perfect store."
* Achievements within coaching/working with Field Sales teams and Marketing teams
