Based in either London or Bristol, but with a need to travel regularly between the two offices, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager to join an alliance of law firms, initially on a 6 month fixed term contract basis, but with every hope that it becomes a permanent role.

The Marketing Manager will be a central resource for this alliance of Insurance law firms and will set the strategy for the website, brand and marcomms programme. The role holder will work with existing marketing teams to channel their collateral through the website, drive traffic to it and generate contacts and opportunities from it. It is essential that you ensure branding is consistently articulated through all external marcomms channels and relevant collateral and will need to develop the profile, structure and functionality of the website, ensuring it is best in class and coordinating a programme of thought leadership and campaign activity through the site. The Marketing Manager will act as a champion of social media and will be responsible for producing a monthly report to stakeholders on the activities and results of the marketing programme and proposals around priorities and investment areas. The successful applicant will also need to liaise with any existing agencies and contractors of the alliance firms and will be the lead for "on-boarding" any new members into the alliance to ensure consistency in their branding, website protocols and marcomms.

The chosen candidate will have a good academic background or equivalent with previous legal or professional services experience to include experience of working in the insurance industry or related fields. The Marketing Manager must also have proven experience developing website and marcomms activity in an international business environment. A self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and who possesses outstanding communication skills, it is essential you are highly credible with the ability to influence, challenge and coach colleagues. A business level proficiency in German would be an advantage but is not a necessity for this role.
