Description

Key responsibilities for the Acquisition Marketing Manager based in Plymouth include:



Direct Acquisition via Relevant Organic Traffic

* Identify opportunities to grow our relevant organic traffic in the UK

* Provide strategic direction and tactical guidance to the content and distribution teams

* Identify opportunities to secure backlinks

* Track and maximise content distribution

* Coordinate with our PR agency to ensure they support our organic campaigns



Manage and Optimise Acquisition via Paid Traffic

* Build, manage and optimise paid search campaigns across both Google Ads and Bing

* Experiment with and build out CPC campaigns around other relevant platforms such as



Facebook, Twitter, Amazon....

* Maximise the number of paid leads per month while minimising cost per lead

* Suggest and identify opportunities to build out new site elements



Content Calendar

* Own and manage our coordinated content publishing calendar to ensure all relevant communication channels work together work together in a joined up way:

* Blog posts

* Academy sections

* New product launches and announcements

* Brand awareness campaigns

* Affiliate marketing messaging

* Telesales

* Email

* PR

* Speaking opportunities

* Social media



Cross-team coordination

Work closely with the tech team to ensure onsite SEO is managed properly and all content is optimised

Coordinate with CMO to ensure the content publishing calendar is up to date and is achieving overall objectives

Work closely with content team to ensure monthly publishing and distribution targets are being met

Reporting and KPI Management weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting around site traffic, acquisition, conversion, search presence, and lead acquisition costs.


Profile

The successful Acquisition Marketing Manager will:

Focusing on the strategy and implementation around both organic (SEO) and paid search traffic (CPC), using also traditional channels such as email, social, direct mail, telesales, and face-to-face.

The Acquisition manager will have the freedom to implement their own ideas and creativeness, making this opportunity into their own.



The candidate will be measured on specific aggressive (but achievable) targets with a focus on:

* Cost per acquisition

* Volume of acquisitions

* Gross margin per acquisition

* Acquisition payback period
