The organisation is a Local Authority within central London looking for an events coordinator to join their busy events directorate. The organisation hosts a catalogue of various events ranging from internal such as meeting and conferences to external events like award ceremonies and banquets. This is an exciting opportunity for an events coordinator with 2-3 years of experience under their belt.

Your new role

You will be responsible for the coordination of multiple events within the organisations larger events space. These events will both internal and external and range in attendance from 20-30 people to over 400. This role is responsible for the venue management and liaising between suppliers and various stakeholders involved in the events process. You will be supporting the vents team in any ad hoc tasks necessary.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have

* at least 2-3 years experience in venue management and/or events coordination
* experience in liaising and building relationships with key suppliers, stakeholders and delegates.
* excellent written and verbal communications skills.
* the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and clearly and efficiently communicate and solve problems quickly.
* respond and adapt to quick changes and emergency scenarios
* excellent problem solving skills
