Commercial Key Account Manager

Your new company
Our client is a private equity backed Specialist Fuel Blending facility, based in South Essex, which provides bespoke fuels to the automotive, oil, aviation and motor sports industries, to name but a few. They are a truly global company with major clients in the UK, Europe, USA, Australia and Asia.
The company has grown exponentially over the last few years and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future with subsidiaries in Korea and Germany in the pipeline.


Your new role
As the Key Account Manager, you will be working within the commercial department team to manage, grow and develop their portfolio of customer accounts globally. You will be expected to help improve their share within the fuel market and to seek out and develop new opportunities as well as maintaining and growing active relationships in the UK and Europe.
**Please note this is an Account Management/business development role rather than a Sales role.
The role is office based but it is expected that occasional travel to meet customers will be required - so a full and clean driving licence is essential.


What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial expertise/awareness and have a general understanding the economics of fuel production as well as having excellent organisational skills and consultative account management skills. Attention to detail is paramount for this role as well as the ability to identify opportunities within the market.
If you are a Key Account Manager specifically within a manufacturing, automotive or aviation industry player, then this could be the role for you.


What you'll get in return
An attractive salary of £35-40,000 plus bonus and up to 6% defined contribution pension scheme.
