PR and Communications Manager

Your new company
My client, based in East London is a well known charity who provide quality care for children with a limited life expectancy, and their families.

Your new role
Reporting to the Director of Income and Marketing, this is an exciting yet humbling role for someone that wants to help give back something to life-limited children and their families at their time of need. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: developing and implementing a multi-channel PR strategy to promote to stakeholders and support the charity's 5 year strategic plan. You will also contribute to copy and communications for marketing materials as well as assisting with website operations, delivering Social Media plans and analysing the responses to improve marketing performance. You will develop reputation/crisis management plans should the need arise and take on the responsibility of bringing together a catalogue of case studies that will be accessible by all staff.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have proven experience of managing PR, press and journalist relationships in a traditional and online capacity.
You will have extensive experience of Media Campaign Management as well as Reputation Management skills.
Experience of developing and managing relationships with celebrities and film/production companies to support the work of the charity.
You will be a confident negotiator and influencer with excellent copy, editing and proof-reading skills as well as the prerequisite IT skills required for the role.
Excellent Internal/External communication skills.
Key transferable media relationships would be a bonus.
