To support this exponential growth trajectory, the business has made a significant investment in marketing, hiring top talent from Sky, Ovo Energy, Dunnhumby, The FA and Tesco. Following the implementation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud 18 months ago, the business is now looking for a Customer Marketing Manager to play a lead role in our designing and delivering our eCRM engagement strategy.
Customer Marketing is a key focus for the business, so it’s an exciting time to join The Gym Group – and this role is responsible for multiple business critical KPI’s. The Customer Marketing Manager will work very closely with a number of supporting outsourced agencies as well as the network of Regional Gym Managers and colleagues in the Technology team, in order to deliver highly targeted and relevant campaigns to our prospect and membership bases.
We’re looking for a candidate who can evidence a strong track record in delivering material improvements to churn, average tenure & winback (re-join) rate. It doesn’t matter which industry you’ve worked in before, but it’s crucial that you have a really strong understanding of customer marketing. Experience working in a subscription business would be big plus. It’s highly advantageous if you’ve worked with Salesforce Marketing Cloud – but we’ll still be very interested if you’ve worked on a similar ESP.
Our office is based in East Croydon, 1 minute walk from the train station and just 10 minutes train ride from Clapham Junction and 16 minutes from London Victoria and London Bridge. We also encourage flexible working and as part of our benefits package there’s free gym membership of course!
