Brand Manager - 6-month fixed term contract, Cambridge -
Brand Recruitment are currently assisting a leading name in food and drinks with the recruitment of a Brand Manager for their leading marketing team.

This role will see you responsible for:

*Effectively support the brand by assisting in communication to the trade and the consumer through all relevant media including social, PR, online/offline advertising, guerrilla marketing, and new product launches
*Creating strong brand campaigns that will convert consumers and return an ROI
*Strong social media knowledge with agency management experience
*Use all elements of the marketing mix, strategic and operational, to achieve company targets
*Achieve specific brand objectives in respect of Key Performance Indicators as defined
*Contract role for 6 months with view to permanent role

Job Duties:

*Social media support - the management of social media strategy to push and drive engagement to our D2C website
*Reports weekly statistics on website, social media usage and access with regards to social media sites
*Audience-building campaigns within our social media platforms
*Working closely with trade marketing and D2C manager to create a holistic approach to activation and execution, as well as providing operational support
*Develop and maintain effective relationships with key contacts
*Project management and ownership
*Developing new ideas and concepts from a social perspective that can be instilled within the teams
*Photoshop and InDesign skills are desirable for asset support where necessary Requirements:
*Min 3 years' experience of Social, Brand, Marketing Management & Marketing Communication Management experience
*Ability to work independently
*Understanding of retail environment advantageous
*Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous from respected university
*Sound knowledge of the retail industry/environment
*Ability to develop, execute and manage marketing plans
*Ability to exact the best possible service levels and pricing from external partners
*Good communication skills (oral and written)
