This is a highly analytical role with prime responsibilities of maximising the profitability of the business through the effective management of pricing (proposition & negotiation, conditions, seasonality) and tactical planning to remain competitively positioned in all segments of the market.

Leading Global Consumer business.


Key responsibilities will include:

* Assess the market activity and benchmark with their competitors and proactively searching Internet websites focusing on structural, tactical & partner pricing.
* Keep themselves fully up to date on any competitor or market dynamics
* Analyse statistics
* Constantly check opportunities within the network and the UK & IE markets
* Report any distribution issues to the relevant department.
* Participate in any marketing planning teams appropriate to their route network
* Compile the tracking of sales results to assess performance
* Maximise revenue
* Support the Pricing Manager. In addition providing input for the bi-weekly Business Revenue meetings & other ad-hoc meetings
* Produce and submit proposals to the Head Office Revenue Management departments and negotiate relevant actions with them.
* Communicate opportunities identified to the sales teams for local action
* Report to the two Head Offices on local pricing policies and actions taken proactively follow up with Head Office on access constraints to ensure that UK & IE have the correct access available in the market
* Contribute to the understanding of the business pricing policy by the sales team by providing sales pitches for all sectors of direct and indirect sales
* Ensure all commercial information is communicated by the Distribution department in order to keep agents updated.
* Liaise with the E-commerce and Marketing departments to provide them with competitive prices to maximise the impact of the advertising actions (internet, e-newsletter, posters, newspapers etc.)
