The key focus of the Communications Officer is to develop and deliver integrated and cross-channel communication plans. Building strong positive relationships with supporters to help increase income.

Description

Key Responsibilities include:

* Develop and implement coherent communication plans for supporters, donors and volunteers that utilises a range of platforms
* Create compelling direct and digital communications focusing on increasing response rate, income and engagement from supporters
* Coordinate all regular publications and communications to supporters.
* Liaising with the Content Producer to write, edit, and proofread copy.
* Using a range formats such as infograhics, stories, blogs to bring complex stories to life.
* Ensuring direct and digital communications remain complaint with GDPR.


Profile

The successful candidate will have these skill sets:

* Excellent creative and copywriting skills, and an understanding of what content works with different channels and audiences.
* Design experience, including Photoshop, InDesign and video editing.
* Excellent editing and proofreading skills.
* Skilled in project management, and coordination.
* Strong analytical skills to assess detailed information/data and translate it into engaging copy.
