Corporate Communications & Sustainability Office
Our small dynamic, creative and professional team based in Maidenhead, plans and executes Hitachi’s branding and communications activity in Europe to raise awareness and understanding of Hitachi.
Working closely with the Brand & Advertising Manager, you will support the roll out of Hitachi’s global advertising campaigns in Europe, working in close collaboration with stakeholders including Hitachi group companies, Hitachi HQ in Tokyo and external advertising agencies.
You will also provide event management support including organising and co-ordinating content for conferences, managing logistics and liaising with external vendors.
AA key part of your role will be the promotion of the Hitachi Group Identity in Hitachi Europe and with Hitachi group companies in Europe, including managing the administration of the brand education programme and the annual internal award programmes in cooperation with HQ. Your remit will also include the annual design, content update and distribution of European corporate brochure.
At all times, you’ll be expected to provide general administrative support for the wider communications team.
Your skills, knowledge and experience
Ideally degree qualified or similar in a relevant subject, knowledge of corporate and B2B communications is essential. If you also have some experience working in a complex/multinational organisation that would be an advantage but is not essential.
It’s important that you have a positive and flexible approach to work, together with good organisational and administration skills. And, as this role has a Europe-wide remit, any European languages would be a real benefit but is not essential.
