An exciting Head of Digital Marketing opportunity to join a growing sector-leading ethical brand that has ambitious future plans.

Following a successful round of fundraising, our boutique client is scaling up its marketing activities with the aim of driving fast growth. They require an experienced senior performance marketer with in-depth digital know-how to drive this process - achieving rapid revenue growth through new customer acquisition using a combination of paid search (PPC), search engine optimisation (SEO), social media marketing and conversion rate optimisation (CRO).

As their business grows there will be a great opportunity to progress to Marketing Director level status within two years, become a board member and be offered equity in the business.

As Head of Digital Marketing, your main responsibilities will be:

* Creating and implementing an aggressive data-driven marketing strategy to deliver revenue forecasts based on PPC, SEO, CRO and social media - aimed at doubling revenue every 18 months
* Developing a winning marketing strategy that optimises opportunities for bespoke products
* Scoping out and determining cost requirements for 3rd-party agencies (e.g. PPC, SEO, CRO); select and shortlist preferred agencies
* Managing input from technical SEO experts, web designers and developers
* Ensuring web design, coding and content maximise both search engine visibility and conversion of website traffic into enquiries and orders
* Developing an imaginative social media programme - optimising it's cost effectiveness and potential

Skills, experience and personal attributes

* A resourceful self-starter, comfortable working in a start-up type environment as part of a small team and happy to work autonomously
* A team player with well-developed interpersonal skills
* At least six years' experience in growth/digital marketing, with ideally two years in a managerial role
* An ability to demonstrate success in driving rapid growth
* Analytical with a data driven approach (a spreadsheet ninja)
* A self-motivated creative thinker and problem solver who will work collaboratively with the two company founders and third party experts to achieve the growth ambitions for the business
* Experienced of managing a network of agencies (e.g. technical SEO, PPC, web developers)
