Senior PR & Digital Manager – Luxury Drinks
c.£55K-£60K + Benefits/Bonus Package
Central London

Fabulous opportunity to take your expertise in PR, communications and digital marketing into a challenging in-house role looking after a much admired luxury wine brand based in Central London.  If you are interested in luxury brands, ideally in the premium drinks category, this is a one of those rare opportunities to combine your passion with your professional skills.

Our client is an award winning wine producer and leader in its specific category, with a brand available only in premium retail outlets and fine bars and restaurants around the world.  It continues to show impressive growth, and is investing in building the marketing team to step-change its growth in the UK and international markets.

Working in a dynamic, fast-paced but relaxed and team-driven environment, you'll take responsibility for developing effective PR strategies digitally and off-line in-line with brand and company objectives.  You will build and maintain effective communications and trusting relationships with the general press and specialist wine press.  You’ll also play a key role in the wider external relations activity including presentations and briefings, stakeholder engagement, internal communications and social media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Growing the on-line presence of all brands in the portfolio through social media activity and initiatives.
  • Creating media engagement plans to maximize positive coverage across channels including press materials - press releases, messages, briefing sheets, photography, video content
  • Using your  personal and professional networks to build a substantial ‘black book’ of contacts for the brand.
  • Researching and writing content for different audiences to be published in press releases, newsletters, social media, internal bulletins, magazines and the company website.
  • Working in partnership with Marketing colleagues to deliver effective PR for campaigns.
  • Management of agencies/ third party suppliers throughout the content creation process.
  • Attending and organising key events and managing introductions to the press for senior management.
  • Managing a Marketing & Digital Executive

To meet the challenges of this role, you will have a track record of PR & marketing achievement and ideally hands-on luxury brand experience, almost certainly with leading wine or spirits brands, but perhaps in other categories too.  [This could be in an in-house or agency role.]  You will have strong communication and presentation skills, with excellent writing skills and attention to detail and strong relationships with media representatives (including journalists, bloggers and influencers) already in place.  You will also have  a good knowledge of the web, CRM, social reporting and social listening tools.
