Silver Cross has an international distribution network covering UK, USA, Europe, Russia, The Middle East, Asia, Asia Pacific regions, with further expansion into new territories in 2018/19.

There are exciting new products launching in Autumn 2018 and over the coming 3 years which will take the market by storm.

Job Role Overview:

Through understanding the Silver Cross target customer, the business proposition and its values develop the brand identity across all customer and internal communications, and act as brand guardian to ensure consistency across all channels and touchpoints globally. The refined brand identity and communications will need to work to attract customers to Silver Cross, challenging pre conceived perceptions.

Develop ongoing global creative campaigns for all channels, product launches and activities aligned with business commercial objectives.

To oversee the work, scheduling and quality assurance of our in-house design team, and brief external agencies when required plus manage relevant production/print suppliers. 

Seek process improvements to drive cost efficiency and better timeliness of activity.

Key Responsibilities:

-       Through customer understanding, take the Silver Cross proposition and values, and define clear brand guidelines for all customer communications which deliver a distinct look, feel and tone of voice. To then act as brand custodian/guardian to ensure the guidelines are delivered consistently globally by our colleagues and partners.

-       Working closely with the Product Design team to know the product road map to create product launch campaigns which can be used across all channels including POS, PR, social, packaging, our collection brochure, advertising, on line and email. 

-       Know the relationship between the Silver Cross brand, and our licensed brands Aston Martin and Marie Chantal to define how these are represented creatively in all communications.

-       Build strong relationships with the European (Spain and France), Hong Kong/China and USA teams and their PR and Social media agencies to support them in the growth of the Silver Cross brand in these territories.

-       Build strong relationships with the UK and International Sales Team to support them with their customers marketing requirements.

-       Develop world class global POS and visual merchandising with regular updates aligned with product launches to reflect strong brand and product stories. Ensure the POS portfolio is always up to date and stocks of POS and on product POS are always available.

-       Present new product information to the global sales teams and internal colleagues in an informative, easy to understand way including Sales Presenters, Product Portfolios and videos.

-       To oversee, plan, co-ordinate and attend lifestyle and studio product photo and video shoots, select models, locations and styling and support agency in art direction.

-       Work with the Ecommerce Manager to ensure web content is both brand appropriate and contributes to achieving sales targets. Manage the creative and brand content offering of key multi-channel partners.

-       Support in the planning and creation of strongly branded and impactful cost-effective trade shows and events, with a major focus on Cologne each year.

-       Manage, via the internal team and suppliers, the scheduling and production of all creative assets including POS, brochure, email, web design (note the ecommerce manager will manage all other elements of the website), advertising to time and budget.  This will include scheduling, photographic sample management, copy, studio design, artwork, repro, print production and press passes.

-       To propose and manage all associated global budgets to meet the marketing requirements of the business and ensure all appropriate contracts and usage rights are in place for copyright and origination of all image and assets.

-       Pro-actively manage incoming tasks and tactical requirements, co-ordinate the multi-channel workflow, schedules and integrated critical paths to deliver projects on time, on budget and to consistently high standards.

-       To oversee the management of external suppliers. Keep up to date with industry and specialist production tech software, systems and digital initiatives and content asset management solutions to continually drive process improvements and cost efficiency.
