Are you an experienced Financial Services Communications professional? Are you motivated to lead and develop a team to success?

I'm currently recruiting a Communications Manager to support the Head of Operational Communications, to manage end to end campaign processes, with a creative eye!

A leading financial services brand and provider of insurance, mortgages investments and pension services is currently seeking a talented Communications Manager to implement an annual communications plan, identifying customer experience improvements in a cost effective way and designed to facilitate long-term growth.

About the role:

* Developing and delivering annual communications plans to optimise performance in terms of profit, volume and targets.
* Using insight to develop a deep understanding of customer audience wants and needs.
* Evaluation and analysis of data, using this to understand and predict trends, reporting on this and adjusting plans accordingly.
* Inputting into the transformation of the marketing mix to grow broader pensions awareness and consideration across the group.
* Developing close working relationships with internal departments including product, distribution, operations, compliance, risk and finance to ensure effective campaign implementation.
* Communicating effectively with cross-functional teams, such as product, propositions, well-being and approvals teams to deliver compelling propositions through integrated campaigns.
* Managing post-sales customer communications
* Defining, agreeing and working with an appropriate budget to achieve plans.
* Managing marketing agencies and third parties, ensuring outputs are delivered.
* Managing and developing employees at all levels, in a manner that is consistent with company policies. You will be managing up to 5 communications executives in this role.

About you:

* Strong preference for experience of delivering communications within a pensions-related subject matter or similar.
* Strong customer orientation.
* The ability to communicate and influence at all levels with experience of back-end delivery in a communications
* The proven ability to lead and manage people as well as develop their skill-sets.
* Professional qualifications in PMI, AFPC, IMC, CIM or IDM are preferred.
* Experience in creating complex communications plans across multiple products and segments.
* A proven track record of delivering successful channel marketing
* Excellent understanding of the latest measurement and optimisation tools.
* Significant understanding of the creative process and awareness of how to drive creative excellence.
* Experience of developing and managing insight-led customer marketing propositions.
