For this leading Electrical wholesale business, the Marketing Manager will implement their customer insight and marketing expertise to drive and support a national network of branches, via local marketing initiatives and Omni-channel campaigns, events and promotions. To manage key internal and external communication channels to support the organisations corporate and marketing objectives.

Our client is a leading Electrical Wholesale business, boasting a network of UK branches and a proven reputation in the field.


The Marketing Manager will:

* Build and deliver the annual marketing strategy, in close collaboration with the Head of Marketing.
* Be responsible for all publications and branch marketing materials
* Conduct regular and ad hoc customer data analytics to exploit profitable growth opportunities
* Increase repeat purchase, account re-activation and new acquisition
* Deliver clear brand and range positioning, new product launches, and development of improved or new sales concepts
* Liaise with external suppliers, such as print management companies and media owners
* Work cross-functionally with a variety of internal departments
* Plan, shape and execute customer research and market insight, building concrete plans to increase performance
* Produce and deliver internal communication activity
* Management and reporting of budget
* Team management and development

This role is office based in Central Bristol, with occasional UK travel.


The Marketing Manager will:

* Be a creative and results-driven Marketing Manager
* Have a proven track record of successful campaigns in a competitive, customer focused role within a retail or distribution environment
* Have a strong background in brand and customer driven activity
* Have in-depth knowledge of catalogue production, experience in print procurement
* Be a strong communicator
* Have excellent stakeholder management skills
* Have a formal Marketing or Business Qualification at diploma or degree level
* Have strong commercial or analytical skills
* Have a knowledge of catalogue production techniques and creative IT skills
