The role sits within the Legacy Marketing team.

The key focus of legacy marketing activities is to encourage and strengthen relationships with new and existing supporters in order to promote the importance of gifts in wills to the charity.

Client Details

Our client is one of the largest charities in England and Wales.


Key responsibilities include:

* Recommend the strategy for Home for Life and In Memory in conjunction with the Head of legacy marketing, as well as implement and manage the programmes planned to deliver it.
* Develop annual plans for product areas that the role is responsible for.
* Control, coordinate and oversee acquisition campaigns for Legacy products, including through DRTV, digital, mailing and face to face channels.
* Manage agencies/suppliers, brief them to produce legacy marketing campaigns, literature and content and manage them throughout the process for delivery to brief
* Lead, develop and motivate one direct report to ensure that they have the necessary skills and abilities to meet current and future needs.
* Reporting on an agreed frequency and taking proactive improvement or remedial action as required.
* Brief internal teams and external suppliers for campaign responder fulfilment and put checks in place to ensure it is carried out efficiently and effectively.


In order to be considered for this role you must have:

* A degree or CIM/IDM qualification or extensive relevant experience
* Previous experience or DRTV and digital campaign management
* Experience managing a direct report
* Ability to develop new ideas into effective action plans
* Experience managing customer/donor relationships
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage/oversee multiple projects
* Previous agency management experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Empathy for the cause
