A friendly commercial law firm is looking for a Marketing Manager to join an established marketing and business development team.

Acting as line manager to the Central Marketing team, with budgetary management responsibility, the successful applicant will enjoy a broad role. The Marketing Manager will be tasked with refining the firm's digital strategy, ensuring the firm keeps abreast of new developments, channels and potential activities and working alongside the firm's digital agency as part of a project team on future plans and developments through to implementation of recommendations. You will take responsibility for ensuring that digital channels are dynamic with content developed and refreshed regularly and must ensure the quality, performance and reporting of the firm's website, e-marketing and social media platforms are fit for purpose. From a communications perspective, the role holder will manage the firm's internal communication and employee engagement messages and mediums, manage the firm's relationship with its external PR firm and co-ordinate responses to central directories and surveys. You will also support the Business Development team in event activity including logistics, such as venue finding and managing the events payment process with the finance team and must ensure the firm is able to produce and deliver high quality proposals, publications and other marketing collateral through its design capabilities including software, image and photo libraries and design agency resource.

The chosen candidate will be well educated with substantial experience in marketing management within a professional services environment, with an emphasis on central systems as well as digital marketing management experience and of brand and design management. A strong team player with a hands-on, proactive approach and the enthusiasm and tenacity to achieve objectives, applicants will be expected to push forward the marketing team to reach their full potential. The Marketing Manager will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade through demonstration of experience and knowledge.
