A world-class University based in West London/Middlesex are looking to hire a Deputy Head of Marketing to join their large marketing, communications and student recruitment directorate.

Client Details

Our client is a world-class University with a growing international reputation for high-quality teaching and excellence in research. They have excellent transport links via the M25/M4/M40 or via the Piccadilly line.


To lead the Campaigns and Insight team and deputise for the Head of Marketing on leading the wider marketing team on strategic development and delivery of insight-led marketing activity, integrated communications and targeted marketing materials, to raise the profile of the University and its degree programmes.

The post holder will manage the development of marketing content to support effective promotion of the University, its courses and research profile, online and offline, including copy, photography and video.

In support of the Head of Marketing, the post holder will promote and develop best practice in marketing activity and provide an active lead in the planning, development and implementation of all brand-level marketing activities to achieve student recruitment objectives.


The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate their understanding of the principles and importance of brand strategy in relation to student recruitment. Higher Education marketing experience or a first degree in a business or marketing related subject is essential and the successful candidate should have extensive experience leading a team and hold a proof reading or copywriting qualification.

Experience of using a CRM is essential.

Job Offer

£43,685 - £52,132 plus £2166 per annum London Allowance with excellent benefits.
