Research Insight Manager
MHA is a charity providing care, accommodation and support services for more than 18,200 older people throughout Britain. Through the commitment and dedication of 7,000 staff and 5,000 volunteers who share our values, our mission is to improve the quality of life for older people.
Today we support:
- 4,900 older people living in our care homes, many receiving specialist nursing or dementia care
- 2,700 older people living independently in purpose-built apartments, with access to social and leisure facilities and flexible care should they need it
- 10,600 older people living independently in their own homes through our Live at Home schemes across the UK
We are looking to appoint a Research and Insight Manager for 9-12 months to provide maternity cover. Your primary responsibility will be to lead market research and customer insight projects, providing data analysis, customer insight and advice to colleagues. This will help you to support strategy, policy, plans and tactical activities across brand marketing, corporate communications, fundraising, operations, quality and new product and service development.
You will need to bring significant research experience, both quantitative and qualitative, as well as desk research skills. You will manage complex data sets, providing analysis and interpretation for colleagues across MHA. Data will need to be sourced from internal information banks, and a range of external bodies and partners, then analysed and interpreted, to provide easily digestible insight for colleagues in MHA.
Your influencing, presentation and report writing skills will all need to be excellent. Stakeholders will include your Marketing colleagues, External Affairs, Fundraising, the Leadership team, management teams delivering care and support services across our UK portfolio, as well as external partners.
