Main Tasks

Reporting to the UK and ROI Marketing Director, the Plenty Marketing Manager is responsible for:

* Leading the Plenty brand team to support delivery of market share and profit growth through brand activation
* Developing and implementing the annual marketing strategy for Plenty in line with the European and Global strategy
* Developing and executing local media strategy within budget and in collaboration with local media agency
* Planning and implementation of a multimillion pound A&P budget
* Co-ordinating with sales in regard to pricing strategy and meeting defined sales targets
* Acting as a main interface with internal business units to drive brand and product innovation projects - acting as go to market lead for functional project teams to deliver excellence in execution

Key Competencies

* University degree or equivalent education in Marketing, Business Administration or similar
* Strong marketing/trade marketing and/or sales experience within the FMCG sector
* Track record of achieved business results and experience in project management
* Has a distinct conceptual and analytical mindset with the capability to act on own initiatives
* Proven leadership experience, with particular focus on ability to think holistically, is customer and consumer driven, takes responsibility and is accountable and is able to lead by example
* Has a broad and comprehensive understanding of theories and practices within sales & marketing
* Contributes to create a vision for category growth and is able to identify growth opportunities
* Experience in all areas of the Marketing Mix, especially: innovation & launch management; communication & media planning; activation & promotion execution; and analysis and strategy development
* Manage existing assortment and builds brand equity and sales with integrated Go-To-Market propositions
* Ability to communicate, influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
* Ability to navigate and deliver results in a matrix organization
