Key responsibilities

* Responsible for the global event development and growth strategy. You will set detailed operational plans and financial budgets to underpin the approved strategy, which will encompass geographical, content, logistical and reach development
* Liaise and collaborate with other members of the Senior Leadership Team including and heads of functions to ensure that face-to-face event and digital event design and delivery helps to support the broader strategic objectives
* Track developments in the events market to ensure they are constantly evaluating what they do and remaining relevant
* Actively support the conference programme managers in developing new conference event formats and product ideas
* Ensure the appropriate, up to date operational procedures and reporting systems are maintained to ensure the invest are delivered on time, on budget and that the customer needs are met
* Track and act upon customer feedback so that excellent quality standards are maintained
* Provide strong leadership to direct reports, encouraging stretching personal and professional development plans
