An excellent fixed term contract opportunity, working until October 2018 as a Business Development Adviser - Corporate, has become available for a leading global law firm. Candidates must be available to start by mid-July.

You will be working with a well-established Marketing & BD team, which supports the firm on a wide range of business development, marketing and client relationship management activities. The firm requires a capable and enthusiastic adviser to support the Senior BD Manager in implementing business development plans across the international corporate practice, with a particular focus day-to-day on providing BD support to the London Corporate practice. The role will encompass a range of activities including client targeting and cross-selling; client, sector and competitor analysis; pitching and credentials; profile raising and marketing campaigns, including communications such as brochures, online and BD evaluation and reporting. The Interim Business Development Adviser will also act as an account manager for internal clients, being an interface with other parts of the firm to ensure seamless and timely service delivery in areas such as marketing communications, event organisation and research and analysis.

You must have a 2.1 at degree level from a reputable institution allied to strong previous experience of working in a marketing and business development focused role in a professional services environment, preferably a law firm. Excellent interpersonal, influencing and persuasion skills are essential, as is the ability to think broadly and employ a high level of initiative, whilst demonstrating a commercial and strategic outlook. The Interim Business Development Adviser should also be pragmatic, robust, diplomatic and resourceful, with the ability to adapt quickly to different situations and personalities and have strong project management skills.
