Your new company
Your new company is a public sector organisation located within the Liverpool area. Due to a change within the organisation, they are recruiting for a temporary Communications Assistant for 6 months to support the team.

Your new role
As a Communications Assistant you will report into the Communications Manager. Your role will be in the internal communications team helping to support in their busy period. You key duties will include delivering against the communications strategy, working with the communications manager to understand the best methods of communications across the organisation for various teams, content creation for emails, print and digital posters and the intranet pages. You will also be required to send out internal newsletters using a template through MailChimp. In addition to internal communications you will also be required to manage the organisations social media accounts, including creating contact, posting, scheduling and also running analytical reports.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful with your application you must have previous experience as a Communications Assistant. You will have excellent writing skills and be able to work across both print and digital to deliver effective and engaging communications. You will also be able to work independently to deliver projects but also as a team to contribute ideas and work to the wider team.
