Job Title: Sales and Marketing Assistant

Location: Northwich, Cheshire

Salary: £9.00 per hour

Type: Permanent, Part time (22.5 hours per week)

The Role:

To be primarily responsible for support of Sales and Marketing within the Business Development Department. This will include lead generation with existing and new customers, implementation of marketing campaigns and contribution to marketing materials, monitoring and updating the Company's website activity and generally assisting the Business Development Team.


Provide general administrative support to the Business Development Department including:

* General administrative duties, following of all quality procedures in place.
* Preparation of quotations, follow-up and recording details of orders.
* Managing sales enquiries received via telephone, email and website.
* Maintaining the sales order book to ensure that all details are kept up to date.
* Identifying opportunities to tender by monitoring emails, subscribed websites and publications.
* Assist in implementation of campaign plans to include marketing and mailshot follow -ups.
* Identification and qualification of prospective customers and arranging suitable demonstrations.
* Updating the website with the latest news, product information and other content.
* Provide monthly summary reports on website statistics.
* Assist in the organisation of user group meetings/conferences, booking of venue, sending invitations, collating responses.
* Liaison with Marketing Company regarding the design and printing of marketing materials.
* Productions of annual fees renewal reminder reports.
* Assist in the preparation of contracts for new customers/new projects.
* Preparation of PQQ's (Pre-Qualification Questionnaires) as part of the tendering process.
* Maintaining customer contacts database (CRM).
* Create, develop and manage the Company's social media channels.

The Candidate:

* GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above, including Maths and English
* Additionally, you must be highly organised and possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
