Exciting and varied Events Management role within an exclusive Leisure Destination, Leisure and Sports Business based in Surrey. A thrilling opportunity to gain some exceptional events management experience at globally renown and premium establishment which would provide an superb platform for events and wider marketing in luxury markets.

Key Responsibilities:

* To respond to sales leads promptly and with clarity at all times to ensure every revenue opportunity is taken.
* To have a full understanding of yield management and strategy and maximise revenue for each event, up selling the product at every opportunity.
* Building client and colleague relationships to successful reward.
* To work with the CEO and the Director of Food & Beverage in producing the annual calendar of events.
* Manage the sale of tickets for all bespoke events, manage the event and attend the event on the day/evening.
* To conduct show-rounds, including walk-in appointments and participate in Trips in a professional manner, demonstrating a full knowledge of the Business products and services, and tailoring the benefits to meet the guests' needs.
* To ensure that all diary entries are up to date with booking status, date booking taken, client details and telephone contact details and activities up to date.
* To ensure company policy on credit checking and payment procedures is adhered to.
* At all times present and maintain high standards of communication, both written and verbal, to clients and colleagues.
* To pro-actively work towards the achievement of the budget and the strategic plan.
* To establish and nurture a good relationship with regular bookers and high spend clients by entertaining, attending customer events, and upgrading as necessary.


Preferred Skillset:

* Previous events and campaign management experience ideally within a leading hospitality/leisure/sports business.
* Experience of working with operations team to coordinate and organise events.
* Able to demonstrate experience within comparable environment where first class customer service is paramount.
* Demonstrate key skills of persuasive questioning techniques, active listening and persuasion.
* Proven track Sales record and ability to demonstrate experience of working in Sales and revenue targets.
* The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent organisational skills, the ability to communicate at all levels, be attentive to detail and ensure the effective management of events that will both meet and exceed the expectations of the customer
* Ability to prioritise workload and handle several projects at any one time.
* PC literate - Word and Excel.
* Excellent and engaging social and communication skills
* Smart, well presented and a sunny disposition, adhering to company dress code at all times.
