Description

Key responsibilities of the Interim Communications Manager:



* The communications manager role is a senior member of the communications team and responsible for the deploying resources effectively (services) to ensure the delivery of effective marketing communications strategy and plans

* The role will act as a key point of contact for external stakeholder engagement, supporting regulatory colleagues by providing advice and guidance

* The role will support the internal communications function, including delivering through key internal channels, copywriting and working as part of a wider team to deliver change communications

* The role will work across the organisation and beyond, building relationships internally and externally (as required) to ensure effective communications

* In addition the communications manager will provide advice and support to staff across the organisation ensuring that they are supported to deliver effective communications


Profile

The ideal Interim Communications Manager:

* Experienced comms professional able to handle external relations and internal communications
* Used to managing external stakeholder engagement activities, with experience of dealing with media issues, copywriting and running effective internal communications on behalf of a corporate organisation working in a high profile area
* Experience of change communications for key strategic improvement projects
* Previous public sector experience - or experience of working in a large and organisation with different functions and services is essential

The offer for the Interim Communications Manager will be a strong day rate DOE
