A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a marketing content manager to join a leading financial and professional services brand. You will be responsible for writing compelling content to support existing relationships and establish new ones. This role is ideal if you have a background in journalism and/or strong content writing and thought leadership.



Your main responsibilities are:

* Develop and deliver an engaging content programme based on a strong understanding of market issues, the firm, its client base and growth strategy
* Horizon scan to inform your ongoing content programme on both a proactive and reactive basis, including competitor, regulatory, industry and economic events
* Interview internal experts to inform your programme and produce specific pieces of content
* Deliver content, alongside creative colleagues, through a range of channels including: articles, whitepapers, research, publications, social media and blog posts, emails, webpages and case studies
* Establish, with marketing colleagues, clear and measurable KPIs against which your content and associated campaigns will be measured
* Take responsibility to understand and contribute to the long-term ambition of the firm's marketing proposition, while also identifying and delivering short-term gains/quick wins where appropriate
* Diligently understand and manage compliance requirements



Required experience and skills:

* Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to convey the style and tone of voice
* Relevant marketing or industry professional qualifications desirable although not essential
* Able to demonstrate a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management capabilities
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Skilled in distilling, presenting and communicating complex information and ideas for a consumer audience
* Knowledge and experience of working in a financial or professional services environment
* Understanding the role content has in marketing and business development results
* Interview skills - ability to extract information from senior people
