This is an exciting Senior Business Development Executive role working for an award-winning, commercial law firm. Based in Bristol, the role holder will provide day-to-day, hands-on marketing and BD support for the Employment, Pensions and Incentives business group.

The Senior Business Development Executive will develop group and team BD plans, working closely with regional BD colleagues to ensure location specific objectives are being met, and manage BD budgets for the group by recording spend, processing invoices, checking budget reports and flagging areas that are under or over spending. You will be responsible for revenue generation, helping to identify new legal products, managing a pipeline of sales targets and generating leads through direct marketing campaigns and networking. The role holder will also lead the development of bids and presentations for EPI and maintain a library of pitch precedent material to ensure that bids can be pulled together quickly and efficiently. From a client development perspective, you will maintain a list of all the clients that are important to the group and support Client Relationship Partners in developing these relationships, drawing on best practice from the firm's client programme. On the marketing side, the successful candidate will work as part of the team on the development of marketing campaigns to demonstrate the firm are experts in EPI. You will deliver marketing literature, ensure the website, intranet and social media are promoting EPI services effectively, find opportunities to raise the firm's profile through press articles and work on an active calendar of events and corporate hospitality.

You must be a graduate or equivalent, ideally with previous marketing & BD experience in a professional services environment. Enthusiastic, confident, pro-active, persistent and robust, you must possess good organisational skills and excellent written, creative and interpersonal skills, gaining respect and credibility quickly. The Senior Business Development Executive will also possess the ability to assimilate large amounts of information quickly and will enjoy working under pressure and supporting on major projects to completion.
