The role itself reports directly into the Director of Communications; and the Communication Manager will be responsible for the delivery of strategy, bot internally and externally.

Description

* Support the Communications Director in defining the Division's communications strategy, with a clear focus on its delivery;

* Coordinate the execution of Division-wide communications activities across all operating companies and help ensure successful delivery;

* Effectively support operating companies at local level and provide expert advice on communications projects as well as in managing crises situations;

* Produce high quality internal and external comms material including internal announcements, press releases, media briefings, talking points, as needed;

* Ensure that the Communications Policy is adhered too, including, importantly, the governance processes in place for comms activities and material;

* Working with the marketing team, and local teams, assume ownership of divisional social media channels and implement a centralised social media strategy;


Profile

* Multi-disciplinary experience of working in an international, fast-paced corporate environment, ideally B2B;





* Exposure to a business of substantial scale and high visibility;





* Experience in working and influencing external partners, media, and other stakeholders;





* Crisis communication management





* Strong communication skills, careful listener with the ability to influence and bring others to a common viewpoint





* Resilient and energetic. Able manage complexity and to cope effectively with pressure whilst responding positively to challenging ideas and pressures;



* Determined, positive, confident and motivational based on proven success;



* Fluency in at least one other language (e.g. French, Italian, German)
