Marketing Manager, St. Albans - If you are an experienced marketer, ideally from a corporate or professional services background, and you are looking for an autonomous role containing end to end campaign management with a particular emphasis on social media and event management, then this could be the ideal opportunity for you!

Working for an established and award winning professional services firm with a highly respected name in the industry, you will be responsible for preparing and implementing the company marketing plan including all relevant marketing materials; Organising and running of company events; Curating and publishing all appropriate content for social media channels; Working closely with external design and digital agencies; Producing press releases; Collating and presenting accurate marketing data; Understanding the brand, updating brand guidelines and website design; Identifying new marketing opportunities and coordinating marketing initiatives.

Note that this is effectively a stand-alone marketing within an organisation of circa fifty employees, therefore, you will need to be comfortable working on your own initiative as the role comes with no direct reports. You will need to have experience managing end to end marketing campaigns to budget, a strong grasp of the figures, analysis and financial aspects that come with managing campaigns, as well as having the confidence and expertise to convince senior management to allow you to implement your ideas.

Whilst this is an autonomous role, there will be plenty of support and guidance available from both the head of department, external agencies, as well as supporting software including Mailchimp, SurveyMonkey and Eventbrite.

In order to be considered you will need to have a strong marketing pedigree, ideally from within the professional services or corporate sector. A good level of social media experience, project management skills, clear and concise written and spoken English skills are also essential requirements.

Note that this is a full-time role, Mon-Fri 9.00 - 17.30, however, for a suitable candidate there could be some flexibility on this, including the option to works a 4 day week if necessary.

Due to the location of their Hertfordshire office, this role could be of interest to those living in Welwyn Garden City, St Albans, Hatfield, Hemel Hempstead, Watford, Barnet, and Hertford.
