You will be responsible for setting and driving the branding agenda, leading future developments by constantly seeking to improve performance and ways of working by liaising with key senior stakeholders to translate the brand strategy into implementation road maps.

Client Details

Our client are a leading international retailer based from central London. They are currently going through a transformative phase and as a result are looking to make this key marketing hire to focus on ensuring that they are living and breathing their core value of being customer-centric.


As part of our customer, brand and communications function, reporting to the Brand Director, key responsibilities within the role will include:

* Set and drive the global agenda on brand
* Create and manage the plan to launch global communication campaigns
* Build and translate brand strategy into implementation road maps with clear objectives
* Liaise with agencies, Global Campaigns and Media & Creative teams as well as other internal stakeholders
* Help shape the Brand value proposition across all touch points, influencing the organisation and facilitating a brand-centric culture and ways of working
* Support the Brand Director by delivering the brand strategic objectives and securing the right engagement and involvement of senior stakeholders
* Engage with key stakeholders to secure alignment of the brand strategy across all functions and touch points
* Provide support with strategic direction to the local markets and act as the gatekeeper of the brand value proposition
* Deliver brand KPIs within set time frames
* Prepare and deliver management presentations as needed
* Engage at various levels in the business to communicate progress and gather crucial information to support the development of the brand strategy
* Liaise with insight team to base all brand strategy on customer insights
* Manage the brand implementation, day to day coordination and information management during deployment phase, providing project management and coordination across the business


To be successful in the role, you will have extensive experience from client side or agency of managing product brands and product launches. A proven track record of successful multi-market brand strategic development is key alongside experience of retail or FMCG products. You should display the ability to work in an unstructured and entrepreneurial environment within a larger blue chip organisation with good project management skills. The ability to interact and influence a variety of stakeholders at all levels is a prerequisite with an in-built drive to deliver results.
